HVAC Sponsor a BTU Campaign
WHAT: RUMC is replacing the 30 ton (360,000 BTU) HVAC unit which services the administration and education wing of the church building.
WHY: The current unit is over 20 years old and has been in chronic disrepair for a number of years leading to costly maintenance and unnecessary quality of life issues.
HOW MUCH: The project is budgeted at about $130,000 including the cost of the unit and controls as well as the contract labor.
HOW TO SUPPORT: Begin, or continue, to give to our “Building Needs Fund” throughout the year. These collections are placed in a restricted account solely used for large capital maintenance projects. Second, you can directly support the project by giving a one-time gift to our HVAC Sponsor a BTU Campaign! The new unit will have a 360,000 BTU capacity costing $130,000, or $.36 per BTU. So between now and June 30, 2026, sponsor as many BTUs as you are willing and able!
