Join Rockford UMC Fellowship Groups:
Rockford UMC offers several Fellowship Groups. These groups get together to share fun, laughter and especially fellowship with one another. They are a great way to get to know others in a more relaxed setting.
50+ Potluck – Are you 50 or older?
- Join us for a delicious lunch, followed by an informative presentation.
- Bring a dish to add to the buffet and your own table service.
- Ice water and coffee provided.
- 11:45 am arrival to set up your place and greet others.
- 50+ Potluck meets the first Thursday of the month, April – June and September – December.
- Upcoming programs:
* Paws for a Cause demonstration
* Executive Director from North Kent Connect
* Michigan Coastal Dune presentation

Fellowship Tables – for couples/singles who like to meet and eat!
- Share an evening meal at a volunteer host’s home.
- Great way to meet other folks.
- Participate as your schedule allows.
- After the meal, diners enjoy activities and fellowship as they feel led.
- A final group potluck is held at the church in February.

Euchre Tournament – to benefit North Kent Connect
- Takes place in the month of April.
- Players pay a small amount to play (all of which is donated to NKC).
- In addition, each player will bring 5-10 non-perishable food or personal items (soap, shampoo, hygiene items).
- When a playing team is Euchred, each person will donate an item they brought to the collection barrel.
- Bring a snack to share, water and soda are provided.
- All barrel items and money collected are donated to North Kent Connect.

Hasenpfeffer Night – it’s not rabbit stew, it’s Super Euchre!
- This card game is easy to learn, especially if you already play Euchre, and fun to play; we will teach you how to play Hasenpfeffer.
- Bring a snack to share, water and soda are provided.
- Play begins at 6:30 pm on the third Friday of the month, August – May (except in April when the Euchre Tournament is held).

Senior Connections – Are you a woman 60 or older and a golfer?
- Join us Monday mornings at 9 am May – October (depending on the weather) at North Kent Golf Course
- Come play 9 holes with us, scorekeeping is optional
- Other activities for this group:
* A Christmas Open House in the Larson’s home
* Attend a Whitecaps game as a group
* Attend a Rockford High School play as a group

Zentangle Class – Do you like to color and doodle?
- Easy to learn, relaxing and a fun way to create beautiful images
- Use combinations of dots, lines, simple curves, S-curves and orbs to create structured patterns
- The patterns are then colored in to create an image
- Class meets on the last Monday of each month from 9:30 am – noon
- Let your imagination and creativity flow
