Soup/Salad Lunch and Dessert Auction

Help raise money for the Appalachia Service Project Mission Team.
Join us for a delicious lunch of homemade soups, salad and dessert beginning at 11:30 am. While you eat, you can bid on various cakes and desserts prepared by members of the ASP Team and others. Desserts will be auctioned off via a silent auction which runs from Saturday, April 25, noon until Sunday at 12:45ish. Winning desserts will be auctioned off live along with an opportunity to put a pie in the face of Pastor Anna and Abby, our Children and Youth Ministries Coordinator. Cost for lunch is $7/adult, $4/child with a family max of $20. Hot dogs will be available for the kids.
For those interested in entering a cake or dessert, you can choose from the themes below:
RULES:
1. Be sure everything on the cake is edible.
2. Must use a nonreturnable plate, tray or container for your dessert.
THEMES:
1. Best Decorated ASP Theme: Love Your Neighbor! Based on Romans 12:12-13
Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with the Lord’s
people who are in need. Practice hospitality.

4. Most Scrumptious Looking Cake
5. Shape-of-Your-Choice Cake (animals, cartoon characters, cars/trucks/train, etc.)
Cakes, cookies, candy, etc. should be delivered to the Fellowship Hall on Saturday, April 25, between noon and 6 pm
for registration, or Sunday by 10 am. The desserts will be judged between 10 – 10:30 am using the themes above.
Ribbons will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers for each category, in addition to one Grand Prize Ribbon.
