Praises and Prayers – 2026 Women’s Retreat
You are invited to attend Rockford UMC’s 5th Annual Women’s Retreat, Praises and Prayers, on Saturday, April 18 from 8:45 am to noon.
This year’s theme, “Life offers no guarantees-only the grace of God, coloring our world with goodness and beauty,” is a quote from keynote speaker, Kathey Batey, author of The Lipstick Chronicles. Through storytelling, faith and gentle humor, Kathey encourages women to recognize God’s grace in everyday life and in times of uncertainty.
The morning will begin with breakfast. Participants will also receive a “swag bag,” a signature necklace made by local artist, Judy Ludlow; and enjoy music, crafts and fellowship
Cost to attend is $30 per person; registration is required to attend. Invite your friends and family. We are looking to seeing you there!
