Hello, I am Pastor Anna and I am so blessed. Blessed to be called into pastoral ministry to share the love of God in Christ Jesus. Blessed to be here serving at Rockford UMC since July 2023. Blessed to be worshiping and growing together in Christ with you.

More about me? I am a 1.5-generation Korean-American. 1.5 Gen. means I was born and raised in Seoul, Korea, and immigrated to the US as an 8th grader.
Before I became a pastor, I taught music for 10 years in public schools in Michigan (1998-2008). Rockford UMC is my third appointment since my commissioning in 2012 and ordination in 2015 at the Detroit Annual Conference, which later merged with the Western Michigan Annual Conference and is now the Michigan Annual Conference.

Hobbies: I love taking pictures of people and nature, especially the sky. God paints beautifully, and I love taking pictures of them. I also love making joyful noise unto the Lord by singing, playing piano, and composing songs.
But most of all, I love worshiping God with other worshipers like you.
