Fellowship Groups
Are you interested in starting your own Fellowship Group? Maybe you have a common interest with other members of the congregation. It’s easy to start: Pick an interest Contact the church office to set up a day and time. Create an announcement and the office staff will make sure to get the word out.
50+ Potluck – a group for folks aged 50 yrs and up, meets on the first Thursday of the month at noon in the Fellowship Hall. Bring a dish to pass and your own table service, beverages are provided. Following the meal, there is a speaker to offer information on various topics. This group meets in the spring and fall months beginning with Sept 7 and continuing with Oct 5 and Nov 2.
Senior Connections – a fellowship group, welcomes all of those over 60 to join in our activities and adventures. Currently, Women’s Golf tees usually on Mondays at North Kent Golf Course.
Fellowship Tables– If you want to enjoy good food and socialize others, this is the group for you. Groups of 4 couples and/or singles meet scheduled Fridays once a month. Hosting duties are rotated so each month you meet at a different household and everyone provides a dish to round out the meal. Meal times are determined by the host. Upcoming dates are: Sept 22, Oct 27 and Jan26 with the Feb 23 date all the groups meeting at the church for a potluck. Registration is required to participate. Hasenpfeffer Night – affectionately known as Hass, this groups meets to play the game of Hasenpfeffer, or Super Euchre. Meeting times are on the 3rd Friday of the month at 7:00 pm, in the Fellowship Hall. Please bring a snack to share, beverages are provided. They meet September – May
Make a Joyful Noise New hand bell ringers and choir singers are ALWAYS welcome!! Ringers practice at 6:30 pm on Wednesdays and singers practice at 7:30 pm on Wednesdays, The ability to read music is helpful but not required. JOIN US!
