Sunday School  (Sept – May)

Sunday School is offered for students in grades 6-12 from 10:00 – 10:50 am during the school year.  Students each explore various areas of the Bible discussion, video and activities.

Graduation Sunday will be held on May 21. Details TBA.

The “We Believe” study for the Sunday school youth is going extremely well. We currently have over 20 youth attending. Only a few weeks remain in the study. I encourage you to ask your child what he is learning each week during class time! Also, they do have homework assignments! Please offer your support and assistance with their learning! What a great opportunity to help your son or daughter grow in their faith journey. Confirmation will be held on Sunday, June 11. Details will be given to your youth in their classes.

I realize that this is a tremendous time commitment.  Please make every attempt to ensure that your child attends each session.  On June 11, your child will be given the opportunity to make the decision to join and become a member of the Rockford United Methodist Church. This is an amazing experience in your child’s faith journey! (Please note:  If your son/daughter desires to make this decision to become a member of RUMC, they will not be permitted to miss more than 3 sessions.
