Small Group News

Thank you all for taking the time to complete the brief survey that was distributed at both services on 11-19-2017. If you didn’t have a chance to attend, the survey will also be included in the Stewardship mailing the week of 11-20-2017.

Your input is valuable, whether you currently participate in a Small Group here at RUMC or not. This information will be used to make sure we are meeting the needs and wants of our Congregation relative to Small Groups and Discipleship.

If you haven’t done so, please take the time to complete this survey and return it to church via the office or the offering plate. Contact me with any questions or comments.

RUMC Adult Group  This is a group for adults at RUMC who want to get to know other adults in the church. It’s a place for socializing with your church family and for getting to know adults who want more for their church. Our vision for this group is that once people begin to get to know each other and create connections, they can then define what other things they’d like to pursue. Maybe it’s a small group spin off, marriage course, softball team, monthly dinner meeting, coffee; whatever it is, we want for God to be able to move and help us to become a real “family of God.”
God wants more for us than Sunday handshakes, brief conversations and forgetting each other’s names. God wants us to struggle together, celebrate together and grow in His word together. We hope this RUMC Adults group will help us do that!  Contact Suzi Richards with ideas for future meetings.

In addition to these groups,  please see our other education opportunities.
